Please find detailed information about the proposed changes in the PDF presentation below.

Year 11 Interim Report Proposal

Issues with current Year 11 Reports:

  • Year 11 courses run for 3 terms in total.
This means that currently, only one
report is issued while the students are
    completing their preliminary studies.
  • Term 4 is the start of the HSC course
with the exception of VET courses.
  • Half-Yearly reports are issued 20-21
    weeks into the school year.
  • Year 11 students are only allowed to
    complete 3 assessment tasks across
their courses with the exception of VET
courses. This is mandated by NESA.

Proposed Report Layout:

Advantages:

  • Revised reporting timeline will allow
parents to be informed quicker with
    more relevant information in relation
to the progress of their child

  • Interim reports allow for parents,
students and the school to work
    together to identify and address
    issues in relation to student
    performance more effectively

  • Easy to read format with information
relating to each individual course the
    student is currently studying
